Hey everyone, the HD 100 news looks great, however it is so repetitive that if you watch for 10 minutes for 1 day there is nothing new for several days. Can't they at least take up some time with some trivial news just to keep from repeating so much material? What a waste to have high definition...

This is half of it! If you get nothing but a red sat. light on front pannel and no OTA or Dish, NOTHING just RED LIGHT!

Voom Dish Not Grounded? I do not see a ground on my Voom dish. Only have coax going through a surge protector before the STB. Should I have installer to put ground from dish to a grounding point? Should I call Installers Inc. and or Voom regarding this?

:rolleyes: This depends a lot on your TV. Some give you better quality and some don't, best choice is try both if you have them and compare.

:mad: My Voom is dead! I can't even select a sub menu such as settings. This is more than a PG glitch. It shouldn't wipe out the sub menus from the main menu. Tried everything that has been suggested on this forum. All I can get is a red light on front! Not scheduled until 7/27/04 for tech. to...

Yes, I'm having same problem here in Tampa, Florida! Only had Voom since 7/14 and worked good until yesterday. Don't no if I should keep rebooting or just give up and wait until get service on it next week. Guess it won't hurt to keep messing with it, maybe it will work. Also, there is no lights...

Hey, I'm here in Tampa Florida and been raining most of the day. When there was a clear period the stb would lock up and rebooted many times and can't get it to work. Guess may as well forget Voom tonight and watch sd TV, Ouch! what a bummer!

Got my install on 7/14/04 and only small problems like everyone else has posted, but nothing major. My question is the installer did not hook up phone line and it was available but he never mentioned it and I forgot to ask. Should I hook it up? If recommended I will!

Scheduled for install of VOOM on 7/14, currently have D* and Samsung TS160 STB. Quality of HD excellent most of the time, but D* HD is to expensive. So you local folks keep me updated with your experience with V*
