Are all the HD channels on 129 or just the HBOs, it seems the problem is worst in the evening.

I'm having problem recieving all the HBO HD channels, I get their regular channels fine and all the other HD channels. When I go to one of their HD channels it always goes th searching for sat. then to a channel up or down screen. Do I need to do something?

Lowes had a 12db amp by Phillips, I installed where cabel leaves house about 1/3 down the cabel run. It helped some, all cross lines are gone but picture still not sharp. Do I need to install amp at start of run or do I need a better quality amp, the remote still has to be close to TV to work...
