Big Dawg, I had the same thing on my additional line and they finally figured it out. But I still don't mind getting at 25% on accessories like Bose audio when no body (and I mean no body, ie Amazon) discount Bose. I got head phones at a good discount.

I found that out too. But for hardware I think that is to be expected. On accessories since I want a Bose sound dock it is a good deal since I hate paying full retail.

I haven't heard that since Apple would ask for quite a lot and larger carriers means more dollars but I wouldn't doubt it long term. I doubt the dualopy of ATT/Verizon will last for than 2-3 years at most.

JD is correct. I was a contractor for D* and it was every year a $2-3 increase. I agree prices are getting out of hand but D* is a for profit business and every channel they carry also has an associated cost. It is a tough situation for all.

Scott I agree. I will probably get the Motorola Bionic or HTC Thunderbolt since I want an LTE compatible phone. I doubt Iphone 5 will support LTE so customers who want an Iphone will have to wait until 2012.

I had a feeling about that Mike. I would doubt the Iphone 5 will alleviate the issue to be honest. O well. I will wait for an Iphone or probably stick with the Droid platform.

Don, I agree. With Android you get more flexibility for handsets especially since I am want an LTE compatible phone (both the Bionic and Thunderbolt are coming out relatively soon).

I agree it would not be in character for Apple to do. But I know there will be customers who want to wait and see what the Iphone 5 brings before jumping to Verizon (I have Verizon but I want to hedge my bet just in case).

As I understand it Dodgerking it is a faster version of HSPA but the phone would need to have a HSPA+ radio (hardware antenna) to work with that network.

Same issue. The phone would have to be capable of that technology via hardware not software. I think AT&T will wait until both networks are LTE capable (for AT&T it will be 18 month or longer, Verizon much sooner).

I agree with you Rockymtnhigh. I will get either the Bionic or Thunderbolt.

LTE is more a hardware thing not software. So none of the current line up will work. I think I am waiting on the Bionic or Thunderbolt unless Apple gives us a pleasant suprise in June.

Reading between the lines on Iphone 5 I doubt that the Iphone 5 is going to be LTE. So I am going to look at the Bionic and Thunderbolt more heavily. I might wait until June to see what Apple says but I doubt we will see an LTE Iphone because Apple wants to make a device that works on both...

The Thunderbolt and Bionic will be available for around 6-12 month time frame but I could wait forever and I think the Bionic and Thunderbolt would work best (I have a Droid 2 for work and it works great right now).

I bet this is sign of things to come for VOD services from cable and satellite. Advertising along with sub fees are the two ways that the content owners make money and if the content providers want access to that content they have to pay by the content owners rules which is probably the case here.

I would say look at your credit score and any other outstanding red flags on your credit. Based on experience Directv is less forgiving in regards to credit. Dish I heard is not as hard on credit scoring.
