    New Pricing Chart

I'm currently subscribed to DISH America w/o locals, and am paying $29.99. What will happen to my bill after June 3rd? Also, am I going to lose channels?

    Pricing Update from Dish Network

Got my new bill It went up from $30.41 to $30.53. This is from taxes, due to the bundled lease fee of my 222 going up from $7 to $9. DISH chat is still insisting that I have to have my receiver connected to a phone line, though... or pay an extra $5/month. (03) Catherine B. CTO: Your...

    Pricing Update from Dish Network

I agree, but I don't want to take a chance on this... especially with the seemingly endless supply of clueless CSR's that DISH insists on hiring.

    Pricing Update from Dish Network

That's what I thought too, which is why I'm puzzled by what I was told in the DISH chat. Maybe it's because I haven't had a bill generated yet for February. My bill is always generated on the 26th, and my last bill still shows my package as Turbo HD Bronze for $29.99 and still lists the TV2...

    Pricing Update from Dish Network

I don't watch them, don't want them, and don't want to pay a "downgrade fee" to cancel them after the 3 months is up.

    Pricing Update from Dish Network

I just finished a chat with DISH, asking about the $5 fee for not having a phone line connected. According to this guy, I still have to pay it... unless I signup for autopay. Me: I'd like to turn off my landline phone. Am I still subject to a $5 fee if I don't have my 222 receiver connected...

Can you get the new HD from DISH?

That's what I figured. Since I have the old Turbo HD Bronze HD only package (now called Dish America), is there any reason for me to get the 1000.4 to replace my 110/110/61.5 setup?

Can you get the new HD from DISH?

I have a 110/119/61.5 setup that was installed for me 2 years ago when I upgraded to HD. The channels are not appearing in my guide at all. I'm grandfathered in to the Turbo HD Bronze (HD only) package, but I should still at least see them as 'red' channels, right?

    DHPP vs receiver warranty

OK, problem solved. I got out the manual for the 222, and it does say that the receiver has a 1 year warranty. I called back and talked to "Technical Support", and got through to a CSR named Jennifer. I was amazed that she was not based in a foreign country and I could actually understand what...

    DHPP vs receiver warranty

Hi, I just received my bill, and got my 18th credit for the DHPP. I called to inquire about cancelling it, and was told that if I cancelled the DHPP then I would have no warranty whatsoever. I understand this, but I just upgraded to the Vip 222 receiver through the Dish'n It up promotion, and...

    problems with 222 reciever

I got upgraded to the 222 receiver yesterday. The tech who came out to my house added a second DISH 500 pointed to 61.5, replaced the LNB of my existing DISH 500 with a DPP Twin, and used my existing cable to connect the receiver (using a DPP seperator). I had an extra HDMI cable and we used...

Dish'n it Up - HD upgrade questions

I called DISH today to get upgraded to HD. I currently have a DISH 500 with DP LNB, and a 301 receiver. Here is what they offered: $169 up-front CC payment $100 back (requires redemption form - will get credit on my bill) 6 months of HD for free $6 monthly rental fee for HD receiver 18 month...
