putney, Thanks for checking for me! 11740 is a data TP so no channels, but today I'm not getting anything. It's very close to my true south as well; I'm only an hour and a half drive south-south-east of Iceberg in Minneapolis/St.Paul (Rochester, MN)

Interesting... the football game is at 57% for me. The data TP at 11740 V 30000 had registered at around 50 in the past, and 12051 V 13354 in the 30s. - the FSSN (for my hockey game tonight) had been coming in at about 50 as well, so I'm a bit concerned that I may just be a smidge off from...

I am!? This is excellent news. But tell me, are you getting 12051 v 13354 and / or 11740 v 30000 on 91W, because I'm not, and they had previous been coming in very strong (hence my concern that I've moved). If you are, this could mean that this HS football game is an abnormally strong uplink...

Aha! My wife found the parts. I had smartly put the ones I needed in a different bag than the parts I didn't need. The bag was at the bottom of a box of kitchen stuff she was putting away. Phew, hockey tonight!

Iceberg, you're exactly right. I'll be able to line up the the updown/leftright no problem, it's just the distance between the dish and the arm that I don't know for sure. Let's say I do hack something together (wood or something) and I'm off in my guess. How much of a little bit would my signal...

So I'm correct in my assumption that if the arm isn't lined up like it would be with the bracket that the lnb will be in the wrong spot and it won't work? If so, trying to fabricate something sounds like more than fifty bucks worth of frustration
