I would like to get in on the Sling adapter promo as well. but I still have a 622 that I ordered Day 1 when it was released. I don't know if I can upgrade to the 922 or if I should request an upgrade to the 722k and Sling adapter. I might wait till the new XiP is released.

I had the same issue with a 622 replacement a few years back. I Emailed Executive team at E* and they activated the External HD option for free to transfer my programs. All I was out at that point was the price of the EHD.

Did they mention cost to change to EA?

I have a strange feeling this has something to do with the content providers charging seperatly for the HD feed. I feel this move will bring the Disney networks back to us sooner in HD. So I think the gripe needs to be with the networks.

Not sure how that would work since they don't have a SD Channel anymore.
