Ok... I have no luck getting locals to map down on my vip211s. They are not mapped down on my 2 sd receivers either. Maybe its something to do with chattanooga locals, I dunno.

Tried that... plus the 2nd vip211 is brand new... wouldnt map down at of the box even though it was already set to.

I have two vip211s that are experiencing the same problem. On both I have local sat channel map down enabled, but there are no channels appearing below ch. 100. I can see them in their 4 digit channel range. They are chattanooga locals starting at 7330 and two of them are in hd at channel 5151...

I noticed while plugging in my ehd and activating dvr that there is an ethernet port on the back. Is this port active? Does it allow stuff like dish on demand? If not, what is it for?

If I get this update for my vip211, will I be able to watch live tv while it records a show on another channel?
