I'm getting a lot of audio drops on my HR20/700 (recorded shows only) running 0x5d2. Will this address this?

I forgot to mention in my original post that dolby digital is off.

My older H20 receiver was starting to pixelate (is that a word?) certain HD channels (ESPN, TNT, USA, TBS, Spike, etc.). So Directv sent me a new H21 to replace it for free. Now every time I change a channel (except for the XM Radio channels where this does not happen) there is a loud audio...

I was simply redoing a previous search and that does not seem to work. You have to retype in 30SKIP or 30SLIP for it to work.

those are channels you do not receive i believe. i tried searching for "30SKIP" on a keyword search and it finds nothing. how can you change from the default (slip i imagine is the default)?

because the last 3 seasons were not when they easily could have been. shawn ryan has also stated he likes the gritty look and feel of the show as it is on the season five dvd. trust me i love the show like everyone else, but i'm not holding my breath. i only hope the next season isn't the last one.

fyi, yes it did. why is that? didn't need to restart to initially receive the hd rollout.

I am not getting USA HD, etc (new ones launched today). Would restarting the receiver (HR20-700) get them?

pressing and holding the FF button will goto the next tick mark. if you simply are replaying something, the next tick will be the live broadcast.

if you have a diplexer then the sat in 2 is NOT working when switching between the new HD channels (for example from 202 to 247). i guess that is what they told me and everything has to be hardwired in (ie no diplexer). to get around this i must goto an "old" hd channel (70's) and then switch to...

now 9300 is NFL Network and 9301 is searching for satellite.

Just talked to Directv and evidently with the HR20 (100 manufacturer) this is a software issue and should not be a problem when the new channels are turned on. I guess I'll see if and when that happens. With our H20 upstairs it is still testing fine.

OK so it was testing fine before, now today I goto 499 and it says they are not connected! What is going on?
