It is a desktop with an nVidia GeForce 7600 GS with 512 MB running at 1280 x 1024, 32 bit color. It works well with most 3D games. It cost around $140 a couple of years ago.

I used Revo to uninstall, but got the same error. However, the registry cleaning by Revo allowed me to install the new version. Unfortunately my best computer is not able to run the program well, underpowered, jerky. The first beta version ran fairly well on this same computer.

I get the following error while trying to remove an early version (beta) in order to install the latest : "Error!! The product definitation[sic] file lost", [sic] is not in the error message. Any thoughts to get around this?

First of all ,don't believe anything from the CES, much of it does not happen. It is my understanding that you have to buy a new TV and a $150 pair of glasses to watch the one 3-D channel that has been ANNOUNCED.

My TIVOs are still connected to the dish, are yours? What version software? My HR20 and R15 quit a few days after I suspended.

My HR10 and SDDVR40 still play recordings, but I do not get a nag screen.

This morning my HR20 recorded Monsters vs. Aliens 3 times; at 1:00 AM, 2:25 AM, and 3:49 AM from channel 9981. I DID NOT request any of those recordings. Software is 0x368. Anyone else experience anything like this?

A little off-topic, but does anyone know if the Linksys WGA600N will work with the HR20 and my Linksys N router. My PS3 works fine (using builtin wireless) with the router. Running a cable would be very difficult. Thanks.

I have given the HR20 a fair chance, but the interface really sucks compared to TIVO. And now I have to reboot it about twice per week, or it plays dead.

My DirecTivos return to the movie I last watched in the list, my HR20 goes to the top of the list. Any way to fix this? Yes, I did read the manual, but maybe I missed this. Thanks.

I have programmed my Home Theater Master MX-700 remote to operate my brand new HR20-100. Everything works well except for the hold down 3 seconds-alternate function buttons ( Play, FF, FR, Replay ). Anyone know of a workaround for this?:confused:

I haven't had any installation problems in about 13 years, because I have always done them myself. Had some heated words with the last installer who came to install what I had already done.
