If they can roll out a DVR soon as well as add HDNet & HD Movies, then they would quickly tap into the Dish & Directv customer bases. They need to also at least add national net HD channels for those in the O & O DMAs for nets. I am READY to DUMP Dish & the crazy 921!

There are probably provisions that exempt this if the whole company ceases operations!! You cannot collect fines from a company that does not exist nor has assests :D

Not really true. Full HD for me with Dish would be: HDNet, HDMovies, Discovery HD, ESPN-HD, HBO-HD, SHO-HD, TNT-HD, PPV HD, Events/NBA HD, Demo HD, CBS-HD That is a total of 11 channels. Thus really adding 1 to current 10 = 10%!!!!!! Now if you factor in OTA HD that I get (PBS x 2, CBS...

I agree that a working, stable HD DVR with manual control of adding of OTA channels will easily get me to switch once the full compliment of channels are up.

The only difference in receivers is that the StarChoice one only seemed to have s-video & component whereas the Voom one is supposed to have a DVI. Robert
