Ilya, Actually, that's pretty common, especially in areas with lots of trees and lots of miles between you and the towers. WET leaves tend to help the UHF signal via reflection... Really. LOL Lob

And if you unscrew 'em, hit 'em with some WD40 before you screw them back together... It really does sound like one of your outdoor connections. Lob

You might just be in the wrong "TheaterWide mode" on your TV...Tosh's have 4 or 5 of these stretch modes. Check your manual, if lost, d/l a new one from their site. Lob :)

Not an expert here, but I'd suspect it might have something to do with the diplexers, assuming they used them in your install. i think that you have to split the antenna feed BEFORE the multi-switch? I'm sure someone more knowledgable will jump in... Lob

Actually, I think that IS true. They'll try and deliver the update, but if you're actually watching something, I think they then go in to "retry" mode for awhile. Might want to just unplug the phone line completely, eliminate as much stuff as possible. I also think that when you reboot...

I don't have any phone line connected to any of my rcvrs, and have had no lockups since my updates, but it's only been 36hrs, so that's probably not enough for a comparison. Lob

Having done numerous reboots yesterday, while waiting for my software update last night, I found that I went from wishing there were no lockups to wishing that at LEAST you could reset the box from the remote??????? :) Lob

No...no more lockups. The update fixed that, thanks. Still putzing around with the OTA stuff though. When I do a scan, some of the channels that read 85 or 90 for signal strength won't tune. Lob
