This is good news. Either one of two things is happening: Voom hasn't figured out their PPV features yet, OR they are just amking it another perk of having Voom.
It sounds like it's party planning time.
I see. Then I will pose the question: Why do they have 2 different versions? How do I know which one to watch? This is one of my favorite movies and I'd like to see it in True Glorious HD. Will it come on in true HD again?
Sean,
I don't recall when it was, but it looked exactly like TNT's "stretch-o-vision" to me. When it panned, you could see the globe/stretchy effect on the edges. I couldn't continue watching it. I have the DVD and I would much rather watch that.
Not to be an A-hole about this (because I know it's only been 2 days), but I think it sucks that Voom is giving away something that I am paying over $40 a month for. It's really not fair to those of us that are paying for it.
Sorry to rain on the parade.
I'm more concerned with Marv Albert's teeth. Those things are hideous. I guess it's from all that biting. :shocked
Anyway, the HD looks fantastic!!! :D
Yeah, I'd imaging the the 3D gets rendered to at least 2K since it gets printed to film for theatrical release. The entire pipeline should be digital: Making the HD version spectacular.
Here's hoping it's in HD
I'm really curious about the Finding Nemo premiere tomorrow night. The guide doesn't show the logo and the same goes for Monsters Inc.
These are two great movies that I'd like to see in HD. Why doesn't StarzHD do more actual HD stuff? Are there contracts that tell them they're not allowed...
