What are good receivers to watch these with? I have scanned them in a few times but never watched them long enough to experience the issue.

What size dish are you using for this?

I forget where but I know there was recently a channel that had a working epg. I am trying to test recording on a couple of receivers. Was it france24 or something? The ones on 97w are gone I think.

I tested a similar receiver last year and it has the msd-7816 configuration. Similar menu screens and the performance was similar to the openbox s9 or s10.

I look forward to springtime to set up a couple of new dishes at the new house and to start a garden.

mrpeter are you still using this receiver? Do you have any screenshots of the menus on it? I think I have a similar receiver. I made a satellite list for mine. The motor controls don't really work. Were you able to find new firmware?

do you have to hook this meter up to a receiver to power it or can you use it by itself?

The 7/24 firmware has been very stable for me. The iptv functions have been working well along with the satellite functions.

I was able to recover my X5 receiver by using a high quality CF card with a cf card reader and a certain version of the firmware.

I have a Golden Media Triplex which I hear is very similar. It is probably my favorite receiver overall. The channel menus are the most user friendly I have used. I also recently got the android app which turns my phone into a remote control. Works great.

I finally ordered one of these so I am looking forward to seeing what it can do. Should have it later this week.

So does that mean that my Eagle Aspens will only scan from 3700-4200? That is a drag. I will probably put my DMX242 on the 10 footer tomorrow and do a scan test of 91w.

Brian are standard and wideband LNB actual settings on a receiver? I am not sure what a wideband LNB is. I have a DMX741 on my 7.5 and a Eagle Aspen Bandstacked on my 10' dish.
