Just bought a new 3D TV

Go on eBay and check out the glasses sold by 3DTV Corp. I bought 4 pair for $160 for use with my Panny plasma. They are very light and much more comfortable than the OEM glasses, not to mention that they are MUCH less expensive. I've had them for 7 months so far and have had no problems. . :D

What is the best HDTV on the market at any price?

A lot of people agree that, overall, Panasonic's VT series plasmas have the best picture. But, only you can decide for yourself.

Which TV is better? Also is 3D worth the premium?

Indeed. 3D is NOT a premium. It is a feature of all major manufacturers' better HDTV lines. In fact, the only non-3D HDTVs available from the top tier manufacturers are for their entry level TVs. I purchased my 3D Panny plasma last May ( 2010 ), and have absolutely loved every 3D minute of...

    LG 3D Impressions

Of course it's not as "sharp" as your Sharp ( there HAS to be a pun in here somewhere ) HDTV. With LG, in 3D, you're only getting HALF definition, not FULL definition 3D, as is found with other 3D sets. You're only viewing 540 lines of resolution instead of 1080.

Any recent news in regards to 3D channels coming to Dish Network still?

He was probably referring to the 5 3D channels on Directv. Personally, I love them, and would like to see more 3D channels added.

    ESPN 3D

ESPN 3D on Directv has apparently switched from 720p 3D to 1080i 3D today, which now allows those of us with Onkyo ( or other brand ) receivers to finally be able to view their 3D channel without bypassing the receiver. I put my Onkyo back into the Directv loop this morning to check it out, and...

    AT&T Uverse drops ESPN 3D

Indeed. The ONLY reason I switched from E* to D* was for the 3D channels. I'm sure AT&T will lose a few subs over this deletion, but probably not enough that they will care.

Directv 3D - is it HDMI 1.4a Compliant?

True, the HDMI outputs on the Directv receivers are NOT HDMI 1.4 compiant. However, I personally have never heard of a 3D TV or projector having problems with one. You should be fine. The only problems I am aware of are issues with most ( not all ) of the current 3D audio receivers ( eg...

    BEST 3D LED TV

3D Any LCD 3D TV will suffer from the same problems that plague 2D LCDs - motion blur, limited viewing angles, etc. It's the inherent nature of LCDs. Plasma is DEFINITELY the way to go. And they cost less, as well ! :D

    LED, Plasma, or 3-D

New Tv Indeed, plasma is definitely the way to go. Plasmas cost less than LCDs and deliver a superior picture, as well. The Panasonic VT series plasmas have been consistantly rated as the best HDTVs on the market. And, yes, there is no such thing as an LED TV. It is simply an LCD that uses...

    You opinions on my choice

Panny plasmas Indeed, it's totally up to you. If you want the extra features of the G25, by all means purchase it. If not, go with the S2. Either way you're going to get a superior picture and great customer service. I have 2 Pannys in my home and am completely satisfied with both. :D

    Help Buying New TV

Plasmas No, they don't. However, there is no need for concern. They do just fine at 60Hz. My 58" VT25 does an excellent job of 24p @ 96Hz. Of course, it can be set to 48Hz and 60Hz, as well. I can't tell one bit of difference running 60Hz or 96Hz. The G25 does 48Hz, which is an even...
