I don't think you will ever be able to get along with this guy. But you will have to move the dish. I'd move it even just to protect it, 'cause you know he will be take shots and pokes at it out of spite. Depending what he is putting up, and where. Is it going to interfere with your dish seeing...

A lot of times when I am not using it, I just turn it off by the main power switch (not soft off). Try to save it for as long as I can. Tried every kind of fan combo and it helped to cool it, but did not really help much or at all for freezing. Where do you get the new power supplies from...

For RFDTV on AMC1 103ºW, I went from 36% quality on my 6' Fortec star, to 99% quality on my 10' mesh I use now.:eek:

I get this with both of these units (my Pansat is a 9200 though). Could get it with the 6 footer before I switched to 10'.

You can put the dish anywhere around your house. It just has to point to the south and see a good portion of the Southern sky to track the satellites along the arc.

blind, If you want to and keep trying you will get it. I used my 6' Fortecstar up till this November when I swapped it out with a 10 footer I found. I had mine set from 72º AMC6 - 139º AMC8. Tracked fine, just a much lower signal then the bigger ones. Some boomed other weaker ones were right on...
