    Goodbye Dish Network

Dish has allowed 722 & Hopper equipment on the same account. Back when I was DA/FS, I talked to a tech who was installing 2 HPRSLNG in a guest house on an acct that had three 722s. I told the tech that's not an option. Customer gets on the line and screams do it or I cancel. Got him to Loyalty...

    Dish Customer Service Still sucks

I was a Dish CSR for 5 years so I do know all about business rules. Especially ones that EVT broke lol

    Dish Customer Service Still sucks

Eh, I'll chime in and say DIRT sometimes doesn't know what they're doing. There was a promotion going on last year that DIRT said they had no information on, but I was able to call and get it no problem. Considering it was a promo that a tier 1 CSR could provide, I highly doubt they were...

Tulsa and OKC locals from Griffin Communications on clock with Dish now

I "moved" to KC. Didn't occur to me to get either Ada or Wichita. Makes sense though.

Dish Network Ordered to Change Social Media Policy

Agreed. It wasn't even proprietary or confidential info he posted. Needless to say he was pretty surprised when he was called into HR over it.

Dish Network Ordered to Change Social Media Policy

Yup, this happened to a coworker of mine when I worked at DirecTV. AFAIK, he never ID'd himself as an employee, but posted something about their equipment return policies (I don't know if it was on here or on the other site) but DirecTV corporate security got notified somehow and the site admin...

    Forced satellite removal by landlord

Maybe this is a case of the old management allowing some bending of the rules, now that the new management/owner is here they seem like the bad guy, even if all they're enforcing is the current lease agreement.

    Forced satellite removal by landlord

OTARD doesn't work like that with apartment complexes I don't think. They can say absolutely no roof mounted dishes and nothing can be done about it, IIRC.

    Forced satellite removal by landlord

The dish must be wholly inside the exclusive use area. If the dish is on a non-pen or a bucket filled with cement and the mast is in the exclusive use area but the reflector or LNB arm extends past your patio, then OTARD doesn't apply. Given that she's on a balcony, I don't know if they dictate...

Well wouldn't this have been nice?

Should've called in to cancel service and see if they would've refunded all that to you. LOL

    Is Dish installation mandatory?

Oh I agree with the OP getting all credits he's entitled to as a customer. But since it's known he's in Canada, DIRT may be hesitant (or unwilling) to assist.

    Is Dish installation mandatory?

I don't think DIRT members can deal with people who knowingly are in Canada.

    Local channels from different city!

$5 says the OP's account notes are flagged with instructions not to change the service address because of past conversation.
