What are U kidding me, remember who were dealing with, Charlie and Dish Network! SpeedHD will not on until the new contracts are out, thats just how Charlie works! It would cost him a little extra money to negotiate to get Speed in HD for us now, but he squeaks when he walks and he's only...

Might also check that the copper wire inside the coax connection to the tv isn't broke, I ran into this before!

If Dish new they were probably going to lose in the TIVO case why didn't they pay in 06' now they haft to pay interest too, what a well run company! lol This would have put a new Satellite up for sure! Dish were is ur head! :rolleyes:

Can't believe no one answered his question about if it's quite enough or not for the bedroom! Only to make the correction that it is black, which it is! I have 2 of them and it's no louder than the 622 or the 722, should be just fine! :)

First make sure ur receiver HD settings are set to air not cable! I've found that if it's set to cable it will not pick up some channels for some reason. Then rescan for locals, if that doesn't work unplug ur amp for ur antenna and retry if that doesn't work then ur ota tuner is bad and u will...

Got L6.12 this morning on the 622, but no 501 channels! Shows to have no channels locked out either! Go figure! Everything else seems ok!

I too watched it last night and the pq was really awesome, probably the way HD should be! At first I got the screen to rent then it went to the error message that said I waited to long, I then did it again and it went thru with no problem, started watching immediately and the pq was really nice...

I have L610 on my 722 and the 501 channels, I also have 2 612's with L600 which are Turbo charged, but no 501 channels, my 622 hasn't gotten the update yet!

After getting Turocharged I too noticed a better pq on most channels! Mine was tuned to ESPNHD whenI turned it on and I went "wow" the pq was awsome! The eyes don't lie so either they changed ESPN TO mpeg4 or it was the update! Some channels not so much, but for some there is improvement!

This 1080p stuff is really great, and hats off to Dish for getting it out first, but with that said, where in the **** is FX and SPEEDHD, GreenHD you've got to be kidding! I'm starting to pull my damn hair out, son of a *****! What the ****. Ah ok, feel better! No one has mention the VIP612...
