Finished the reset. Refreshed the Joey and then no sudden software downloads. May just have been a confliction between a Hopper with Carbon UI and one with the Classic UI. Either way the Joey no longer tries to download a new Update 5 seconds from switching to Standby mode. Either way its a fix...

Guys the Carbon UI update for the older Hopper with Sling finished and no sudden reset for the Joey yet. I think it may have fixed. Gonna reset just to be sure.

Yup, I got that problem I've been in a conversation with a guy from DiRT, I will ask him anything that could help you and I will ask him to view the thread. Also, try looking at your bandwidth.

If it is also happening on recordings and LIVE TV, it may be symptoms of hard drive failiure.You should look into the problem to see if this may be happening. If so, you may want to back your recordings up on an EHD.
