Sorry to here about this for Dish. I guess "SOON" takes on a whole new meaning. Glad I did not wait around on Dish, still would like them to do well as competition to keep the HD war going. Now would be a good time to buy Dish Network, someone may get it cheap.

I have scifi hd now and many other new hd offerings. I got D* installed this past weekend. The dvr so far works great (hr20-700). Picture looks great. No regrets. Well enough time spent on here, time to go watch Stargate Atl. in HD. :)

Upconverted SD still looks better than SD compressed crap. If those channels have one hour a month in HD, thats one hour a month of HD dish does not have.
