Also, the 222 has "issues" with some things (based on internet searches and personal experience). Having both a 722 and a 222, if given the choice, I'd choose the 722 any and every day, even if I never used the DVR part of it. It's just much more stable.

Spotbeam 20 on 129 and Spotbeam 15 on 61.5 (NE and IA stations only) look good. Cant say anything about the MO and KS stations on 15.

Hopefully it's turned on today, since the new season of Torchwood starts today, and the ads are making a big deal about how it's in HD. Waiting until wed would be really stupid. Of course, either way I won't be surprised...

Yeah, the 222 is a notoriously "finicky" box. I've had that very problem with mine, but verified that the sat was still working by looking at my 722. In all cases, holding the reset/power button until the 222 resets has fixed the problem. I just wish I didn't have to do it so darn often (like...

I've had the same thing happen, and I'll be curious to see what is suggested. The only thing I have to add is that it seemed to happen when I was having trouble tuning into a local OTA station that's having transmitter problems.

I'd use it to control the TV2 which is in the other room that currently has to be controlled with RF. That would enable me to get another Harmony so that the wife doesn't have to try to remember how to use 3 different remotes in that room, either...

That depends on the state you're in. In some states, only one party (you) needs to know you're recording. Not sure how it's handled across state lines, though...

That's what I'm doing. I just have an ordinary splitter hooked up in reverse to feed the two signals together (the OTA and the TV2 modulated output). Works like a champ as I can tune to either the OTA stations using the tv or the satellite by tuning to 62 (in my case...in yours it would be 75).

Well, if you could pick up either of them OTA, then putting up an antenna to receive whatever you can would be the easiest solution. Outside of that, while I doubt Dish would set you up with more than one local area (DMA), I really don't know.
