When and if Tampa ever gets HD LILs, which satellite do you think it will be on? I certainly don't want my place looking like NASA's communication center like a roof photo I've seen recently.:)

What exactly needs to be fixed? I'm using it just for video (audio goes separately via toslink to my preamp) and it works just fine for me.

I'm in the Tampa, FL DMA. All subchannels that are -1, i.e. 3-1 which is the SD digital station for channel 3, show the same information as the primary station. However, all the other subchannels just appear as Digital Programming. This is particularly annoying since channel 3 is our PBS...

I doubt it too, since it's a "superstation" and games on the Atlanta and Chicago superstations are not blacked out. But getting a straight answer out of Dish customer support is an adventure. I'm just looking for confirmation from someone, not in the NY DMA. Thanks

That's correct. They do bill one month in advance. So if you take, for instance, the Platinum package at signup, you're looking at a first bill well in excess of $200.

Either get an HDMI to DVI converter for the end that plugs into the 622, or a new cable with HDMI on one end and DVI on the other. Obviously, it's not going to carry your audio, so you will also need to connect your audio separately from the 622 to your audio processor or TV.

I noticed the same thing last night while watching Idol over my OTA Fox HD station. But I also noticed that if I pause and then begin play again, it gets back into sync. I'm assuming these are software issues that will be addressed shortly. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the new 622.

I got 61.5 also on my new install. But I'm concerned about when they start broadcasting MPEG4. It's really not clear if they will be carrying MPEG4 on 61.5. I guess, in time, we'll find out.

Maybe I'm missing something here but ---- if you're going the separate dish route (which is the way I'm leaning), why not aim it at 61.5 instead of 129? I would expect 61.5 to be much for us here in Florida.
