It's an exact duplicate of 100. The button appears on the 10s, not the 8s. It's just a little smoother in transition than going through all the gyrations using channel 100.

Had a 942 and thought it was great until the 622 came out. The 622 had a few hiccups, but is now as reliable as anything on the market. I've also got FIOS and as far as I'm concerned, FIOS is better, but their Moto PVR needs work. Smaller harddrive, slow and clunky best describes it. If you can...

I've got both E* and FIOS. I've watched this thread for months now and like everyone else, waited to see what would happen. Today, I turned on FIOS and noticed in addition to their usual Music Choice channels, they've added an additional 47 MTV channels as well. No hype, no announcement.

I just received it on my 622 also. I don't have time to play with it at this time, but I'm sure others will.

I wasn't on E* at the time, but I had FIOS on and I got the Emergency Alert System's annoying sound and generic picture on my screen as well. I really didn't pay much attention to it as I was busy doing something else, but that's really weird that you would get it on E* and I had it on FIOS.

Exactly. I've just had FIOS installed and want to make a qualitative decision. I've got 30 days with Verizon and will take my time.

Just got the download. So far, the only things I've noticed are two new buttons that aren't active yet. There's a "H/W Test" on the diagnostics screen and a "TV Entertainment" button on the Dish on Demand screen. Anyone see anything else?

I think you'd like the 622. As Caam said, you've got the opportunity of recording OTA along with LiL HD so essentially, you can record two network HD programs at the same time. It comes in handy when there are two half-way decent shows competing for your time and you're not at home.

I've got a leased 942 that I obtained in October of last year. After having it for only six months and having to pay the $299 up front, I'm not prepared to invest another dime. Evidently, they called while we were out this evening. I hope they're not asking me to swap anytime soon.

I thought portions were excellent with good PQ here in the Dallas area using an OTA antenna. I was slightly turned off with all the disco music they incorporated into the first half.

I just got a 942 in October and attempted to pass the HDMI out into my JVC amp with HDMI.....No dice. You only get 2.1 and have to use toslink if you want full audio capability.
