Tried resetting our Joey for two days, finally after speaking with Retail Services, Retailer Development and Dash, they recommended we R/A the piece. We received the new one today, installed in 5 Mins, back up and running great. Seems that if you try to install the software on the Joey before...

Can an OTA antenna be splced into an E* dish?

If you live close enough to the source(less than 30miles), there are many sites, or stores that sell small local antenna's that will mount on the dish itself, or use another pole mounted to the exsisting dish mount. Terk makes a model TV42 that clips to the dish, I have had some good results...

Question about new install - 1st Post

Problem here is dish will not compensate the dealer for installing a dish for locals, that should have been done direct through dish. I would call dish and find out why the retailer did it instead of dish direct. The switch is water resistant, however if the unused ends are expsosed then...

Question about new install - 1st Post

You can add another dp34 switch and get eight outputs from the original two. the basic dvr's like the 510 only need one input as they only have one tuner. The 921 or 721 need two inputs, but are not included in the free deals.

    $199 811 ... What do you guys think ? Is this a Scam ?

After the buy back on a new customer activation, a retailer could still make a buck. However the unit should not be sold as receiver only when any real new customer would need a dish as well. Nov 17th? HA!!!!!

Re: Frustration...!! Some of us spent $699 for a 6000 years ago to get one HD channel of HBO!!!! It's been worth every penny now that I look back at it. If you keep waiting for the best product at the lowest price, you will never get what you truly want at the time. 8) Cheez, how can...

    House prewired

There are many Diplexers that will work in your situation, I use them daily with Dish network systems for backfeeds, as well as mixing ant/Sat signals. You can buy them at RS, I think even Walmart carries them. They are as easy as hooking up a splitter, only you use it backwards to mix the...
