The H3 has only one at the bottom of the guide. You can set it display ads or tips, but can't turn it off. I frankly rarely notice it.

Agreed. No macroblocking on mine, but the full court camera view is soft. I have H3 with a sony xbr65850c.

No audio drop outs on mine. I've been set up since release.

Not true. It will work fine on non-4k TVs.

Mine works like the others. H3 will turn on TV, but won't turn off TV. Turning off TV won't turn H3 off either. So, it seems to work right when powering on, but to power off you still have to manually power each off separately.

I like it. Had mine since release. I use it on my main tv in the living room and I have a 40.0 that I use in my office. I like the 52.0 better.

I always had my HWS group shows by type, so H3 is no different in that regard for me. I then sort by episode number so the recordings are in order from older to newer. It sounds like you don't want the same shows grouped together? I don't think that's possible.

I thought you could sort by episode number? I'm pretty sure that's how mine is. I don't use folders though, so not sure if sorting within folders is different.

My H3 installer said he's had the voice remote for a while and said he didn't care for it, so it's possible it's not all what it's cracked up to be. I personally am liking the 52.0 remote.

You can transfer and watch TV at the same tme. The transfer will continue in the background and a message will appear when it's done. You can also transfer from your old box even if it's not connected to the dish. I just did that during my H3 install. When you power it up it'll say looking for...

Or use channel locks to get rid of all the channels you don't want to see. That's what I do.

The Sling device is purchased, so you own it. It will only work with a 722 or H1. Mike's been sitting in a box for years. You could eBay it.

Select your external drive in DVR Sources, then choose Options and Manage Recordings. You can then choose what to transfer over.

I like the new remote. It's smaller and fits the hand better.
