    Problem with 622

    After going inactive, my 622 goes dark and will not return to normal service unless I unplug and plug back in. Called dish and after a few minutes with tech support she said "we're having a problem with the 622's and are working to resolve" She wouldn't give me any more detail than that...

    don't skimp on cabling at this point - put in way more than you'll think you'll need. also make sure you put in plenty of cabling for speakers. and if you're buidling a paitio/deck, don't forget about wiring out there.

    Thanks. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the 119. :-( Any tips on finding it. I made sure the mast was level and plumb. Set the elevation for my zip code and pointed it 170 degrees (had a compass to figure out where that was). If I do need to get dish to come out - how do I get this...

    I'm trying to setup a receiver at my in-laws RV park so they'll have TV for the summer... I purchased a new 311 receiver, and grabbed the old dish that was used at my house to point to the voom satellite. My first question - the dish only has a single LNB - will this even work? 2nd question...

    So have all 942 owners that had their Voom taken away been given a 622?

    They sent me a letter saying VOOM was going away unless I upgraded. I called and a few days later they showed up with a 622 and 211 - no charge. Only an additional $5/month for the new HD packaage.
