ah garys you are correct i do have the 1000.4 seems to function quite well and the angle i noticed much higher than directv or other dish network dishes in my area.. i live in a wooded area and definitely wont have any issues when the leaves return.. all transponders on 61.5 are in the 60's on...

think have i the newest dish 1000.2? they just installed last week. was curious about the signal Strength indicator im checking now and im 61.5 transponder 11 im getting 64 its very thick overcast and fog all day. the new strength inidicator goes from 0 to 125 not sure if my signal is good...

thats just one of the reasons im switching to BEV all the network feeds in hd. west coast east coast canadian programming etc.

you would think that dish network would try expand its network HD progamming via NBC and ABC etc. along with add new HD channels for extra $ whats the holding up one major network feed CBS if you are luckly enough to get a waiver. they should offer should at least offer the optional OTA attenna!
