I just noticed dish has removed Silver, Gold and Dish America as options programing options on their site. Cutting Dish America means the cheapest package with HD cable channels is now 49.99.

Just curious if there is good local programing for Duluth? Only have passed thru a few times heading up the north coast. In some ways that area reminds me of western WA (just not during the winter).

Yes on 1000.2 ... So they should be able to just ship the replacement without an installer and the separator would just split the signal at the box. No need to run a second cable from the box?

If I want to upgrade a 211 to a 722 would there be any additional cabling required beyond just adding a simple splitter if I were just replacing the old box with a new one on a single tv?

Had Dish for 10 years before switching to D in 2007. Just placed the call to E. Always preferred Dish equipment. I ordered a 211 and plan to hook it to an external hard drive. Hope that works as advertised. Feels good to be back. :)

Considering moving back to Dish. One big question is if the DVR's will support the Calvary 1TB external HDD's that I currently am using with my D DVR's. Also I remember way back when E was beginning to allow DVR's there was talk of being able to daisy chain HDD's together. Did that ever happen?
