I made one phone call and told them I wanted HD only, guy said no problem. I'm no longer under contract as I've been with Dish since 1996 so it might be they aren't giving me a hard time because they know I'd cancel altogether and something is better than nothing.

DirecTV is on the way to the house for install today because of MLB EI package. Last year I tried the MLB.com solution with a mac connected to my plasma but it doesn't really work, you can't pause a live game and the video (even enhanced which you pay extra for) sucks.

Keeping the NESH HD theme rolling. If next March comes and it hasn't been added I'll be switching. I'm really disappointed they didn't add TBS-HD in time for the playoffs this year but for now I'll ride DISH out for a few months and know that I'm not watching another baseball season in SD.

I will say that the NESN channel (434) does look better this year or maybe it was just that they actually won an opening day game. It isn't HD but if they do the widescreen wednesday thing this year it should look good even in SD. Go Sox.
