I think the minimum package to add the Multi sport package is a Silver.

New Bundle Question I currently have Dish and cable internet. Embarq is now offering naked DSL in my area and I was thinking about switcihing. Does anyone know if I can bundle the Dish and DSL together and get the $5 off since I am already a customer?

It was on a free preview. They offer different channels every month or so from the higher packages to entice you to upgrade.

Most people aren't going to want to run HDMI cables through the house. I don't think that is practical. At least the current system uses existing wiring for most people. If I upgrade to the 922, I will probably try the Sling Catcher route. Once more details come out, I may change my mind.

You have to switch to one of the Turbo Packages, Absolute never had the RSNs available. Can't add the Sports Pack to it either.

You might not have been told it, but the info has been out there that the Absolute package would not get new channels after a certain point. I am pretty sure it came out of a Charlie Chat. I am pretty sure the old HD packages were grandfathered in until their equipment would no longer...

I had the same problem with my 622. I had to change the channel that the remote was on. Do a search and you will find the procedure on here. There is a switch under the battery cover that you can change, but you have to do something with the reciever also.

How many DVR's do they actually sell though? Most customers are leasing equipment, and with the price to buy them I don't think they are selling many. So I don't think that is an issue. It is just not a priority project.

You should have Science Channel and Nat Geo in the 250 package. That is what I have, I dropped the Ultimate and upgraded to the 250 a while back. Check your "All Sub" guide or "All HD" guide.

Sling Catcher Though not exactly what you are looking for, it may help in the short term. Using Slingbox you are supposed to be able to stream media over the internet to the Sling Catcher. Not sure if it will be HD or not, it is due to be released soon, I think. I am thinking of taking this...
