Hi All, Just acquired a 211 to add to my system. I currently have an 811, Dish 500 w/ dual LNB, and a DP34. I previously had a Voom sat mounted with my antenna. I have a spare Dish500 w/ dual lnb. Can I use the spare 500 and point it at 61.5 and receive the Voom programming? I...

You should have sold the 6000 on Ebay. Going price is about $350.

Thanks for replying but if you guys are saying that it is fan, I mentioned above that I didn't have the OTA unit installed which is the culprit for fan noise on the 6000. If you were pointing out something that I missed please be sure to let me know.

Does the 6000 share parts w/ any older models that can be picked up for peanuts?

A SD receiver can't downconvert the HD signal? Presumably you would have better picture quality with a SD receiver downconverting HD material than you would on the same SD channel.
