Dual accounts same address Hopper/VIP line.

I did the same thing several years ago, right after the installer left I shut off the account with my 811/522 once I had my new VIP 722 setup. Dish said my wife was a "new" customer, but wouldn't let me get a new receiver at the time.

BIG 10 is BACK - A Deal Has Been Reached!

Because their contracts with the providers prohibit this type of access. Directv, Dish and all of the cable companies would scream bloody murder if a company demanded this.

    vip722 or vip722K?

I prefer the 722K to the 722, everything works a little faster, it was frustrating to have to buy the OTA adapter, but I'm happier with the 722K.

    vip722 or vip722K?

No ETA on OTA support for the Hopper though, which is what he mentioned, so the Hopper wouldn't work for him at this time.

    toshiba 65" 1080p

DVD's did the same thing essentially, they were 480i 24fps and utilize 3:2 pulldown to keep the video in sync without looking sped up. The only problem is the frames that run 3 are sped up compared to the frames that run 2X, occasionally causing artifacts. Movie theaters usually double up...

Well if this isn't false advertising...

Cable customers will NOT be impacted by this change UNLESS the individual cable company decides to force everyone over to digital. And if that were the case, it would have already been happening, which it isn't. Don't spread misinformation.

Does D* include it in their HD only pack?

Ummmm... Dishnetwork you need to see how quality HD looks

1920 x 1080 is also 1080p. Same resolution, just one interlaces. Nobody is doing broadcast TV in 1080p at the moment. At the moment I do not believe Verizon is doing any compression.
