If I were a betting man I would not bet that Dish will come to any agreement with SNY. SNY will go the way of MSG on Dish. Anyone who lives in the NY area, and is any kind of sports fan, should seriously consider alternative providers.

Even though I have Center Ice I still cannot see the Rangers, Devils, Islanders as I live in the MSG blackout area. My subscription to Center Ice is the only thing keeping me on Dish. I would cancel Dish now and go to Fios or Direct but I have already paid for Center Ice.

Well now that Madison Square Garden itself is falling down. They had to cancel the Knick game the other night because of asbestos falling from the ceiling. The dispute with Dish is probably not on the top of Cablevision's list. Too bad for Cablevision:rolleyes:

Maybe now that Cablevision and Fox have an agreement, Cablevision will get serious in coming to an agreement with Dish and we can get MSG back on Dish!

Last year on most nights 2 or 3 games were carried in HD on Center Ice.

Now that Cablevision is having its own program problems with FOX. I would not hold my breath waiting for them to settle the MSG vs DISH dispute. At this point Cablevision does not know what FOX will ultimately cost them so I would expect that matter to be resolved before the MSG/DISH matter is...

That is for sure. Here in the NYC area Fox pulled the signal from Cablevision. Cablevision is the largest TV provider in the New York City area. This means no NY Giants football or World Series games. People are complaining that they had to go to a local saloon to watch yesterday's Giant game...
