    Right, it's just not the same. 722 DVR freaks out when pausing and rewinding OTA. Direct has had local HD here for years.

    So I've read that the "Genie" system does not allow you to just pause live tv from remote rooms. You have to hit record first, and then pause. Do the Joeys suffer from the same thing? Thanks for any info.

    I am shocked to hear you say it's slower than a VIP722. Mine 722 is absolutely horrible. Push a button, wait 10 seconds.

    I have tried that. I've tried Sys Info then hit record once. I've also tried Sys Info then hit record three times. I bet I've done that two dozen times. LOL! When I do that, the SAT button just stays lit, and nothing happens. Thanks.

    Dish Online vs Hulu

    There is some Hulu Plus content on there as well. My biggest complaint with Dish Online is the lack of a playback queue and subscriptions. It's hard to keep up with what you've watched, and new episodes that are released.

    Ha Ha!!! Trust me, it crossed my mind, but it will tear down two fences. On the Tyler HD Locals...you really think they'll never turn up HD on these? I know Direct has them, so I always hoped Dish would at some point.

    I live in Northeast Texas and am having all kinds of signal issues with 110/119, and 129. Would swinging to the Eastern Arc help me out any? Not really sure how far west is too far for EA. Thanks for any help.

    My 722k has already done this half a dozen times tonight. Very aggravating. Just like you, I press the DVR button, and the picture comes right back.
