I have D* and I see it a lot on foxnews hd. The picture almost moves then blurs for a split second every couple of seconds or more. I thought it was my eyes.

I'm not defending E* by any means but, it seems to me that this is small change compared to the SEC's complicit involvement in the economic crisis where they did nothing to possibly prevent what occurred with the financial market.

I think you need to blank out your receiver and smart card numbers. I agree with wetz73, a better way to protest is to drop the extra package and notify E* of the reason.

I don't believe that CMT or NickHD have had any programs in HD since the channels were added to D*. Speed has some HD programming that I never watch.

I recently switched from E* to D* and the mpeg4 pq is slightly better on D* than on E* on my 5yo mitsubishi hd tv. I'm sure the pq is even better on a newer plasma or lcd tv.

If I understand this correctly, none of the new HD packages will have any of the premium HBOs, SHOs, MAXs & STARZ HD channels included. The premiums will be an addition to, correct?

If it's a bandwidth issue then you can thank all the subscribers who screamed for E* to add the channels they wanted. So they did. Now live with.

I think if VOOM offered their channels individually (ala carte at a reasonable price) instead of forcing carriage for all 15 (all or nothing), they could have something viable to market. I, for one, would subscribe to MonstersHD for example, but, I don't want most of the other channels they...

My guess is, they are edited for content. I don't subscribe to UnivHD and I don't watch BravoHD.

It seems as though subscribers are paying for the privilege of watching more commercials than program content now. I think the big network programmers need to force more new channels on providers so they can sell more ads for programming that more and more people don't watch but continue to pay...

Who cares, the CW sucks anyway. They are the worst for onscreen interruptions during programming.

The sixth graphic above shows all the E* HD channels? What I'm confused about is, it appears that many of the channel logos listed on that graphic are duplicated. Are they trying to show they have more HD channels than they really have and that people won't see the error?

I would think that it would be beneficial if E* made an effort to add new channels that D* does not have. They could market the differentiation.
