Has anyone sucessfully got just the new HD stand alone pkg that including the recent MPEG4 receiver only additions? From what I've read in the various threads there should be a HD standalone pkg that $30 + fees. I've called twice now, about a month apart inquiring about it the CSRs have no clue.

I'd have to say INHD1 and INHD2 are very similiar to HDNET and HNNET movies. They show sporting events, concerts and speciality programming.

I can't edit the poll to add whose planning on staying. I'm hoping the numbers start adding up enough to get E* attention. I too will be keeping my eye on D* and E* and will be switching back to Sat when they offer a few my locals in HD as well as a few additional HD channels.

The only thing that makes me wonder about this is...if Viacom were serious about this...I would think they would just agree to the terms Dish Network is asking for since Viacom could jack the rates after they buy Echostar out.

Couple things I'd try...change component type to RGB on the playstation (change it back if it didn't work.) Try changing the order the cables plug in (e.g. different colors)...know this doesn't make too much sense but hey what have u got to lose...

dim picture I wasn't suggesting that it would FIX anybody's problems, just making a suggestion of something to try for those that might not have. I have a an 811 with a Sony HD direct-view and I don't have the problem that I have noticed up to this point. Just trying to be helpful.

For those with dark picture problems...different tvs have different black levels, going from direct-view to plama to lcds. Have you tried tweaking your contrast on your tv to get the optimal picture for you tv?
