The EA lnb is notorious for not turning off its internal switch when connected to a 44 sw. If you dont need 4 outs I would suggest just taking out the 44 and running the wing dish into the the lnb in port on the 1000.4 lnb. If you are running 4 recievers then get 4 dp singles or duals and set...

If dish thought grounding was so important then they would do like the cable company and fire you for not grounding. They dont. If the ground is the only problem with your install you still pass QAS. We should ground them all and if they cant be bonded then dont do the install.

people freak out over the distance of a cable run but honestly if everything else is good and you have the signal to lose you would be okay with rg-6. The problem is that any problems you might run into will be amplified by the longer cable run. RG-11 will help.

The newer 1000.2 dishes say turbo hd on them as well. Are the lnb eyes close together or is one of them off set from the others. if they are evenly spaced you have a 1000.2 if one is offset from the other two then you have a 1000.4

When i worked for cable you could bend cable to just block out certain frequencies. So yea a bent cable can cause all kinds of weird problems.

At one time dish was allowing techs to replace the 625 with a 722 when the warehouse was out of 625s
