    I meant DVD recorder too. I have no devices that use firewire, except for my TV. The only recording devices that I have are a VCR, and a DVD recorder. Just think, an entire season of CSI could fit on one BlueRay disc.

    Yes, there is a way to record digital TV. All you need is a converter box that is ran through your recorder. The converter box could turn the digital Tv into analog. Technically, you would be recording analog signals though :)

    DN resolved my complaint with the BBB and refunded me for the amounth I requested--which was about half of the cancellation fee. They cited the roof damage claim and the report of the tech. not showing up for issuing the refund.

    yeah, I was thinking I would need to buy something that has a hard drive, and uses firewire. Those firewire ports are the only video output ports I have on my TV. (I think that output video).

    I currently am getting channel 30 out of Nashville, and 25 from Madisionville, KY which does not even register on antennaweb.com I had to do some research to figure it where it was from. Currently, it seems easier for me to get channels from KY.

    I reported DN to the BBB. The manager or the investment company may go to the FCC because of the roof damage. The FCC has alot to do with the installation of communication equipment such as the Dish 1000. According to the manager, the roof mount was unauthorized. http://www.fcc.gov/aboutus.html
