Agreed I think that is the toughest thing (for me) about this price increase. As a consumer, they took value away from me (Versus) and are now going to charge me more for it. Sucks

My picture seems to stutter for a quick moment when watching live and recorded programs. A restart of the receiver seems to solve the problem. Seems like this may be the beginning sign of a failing receiver. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I am actually thinking of moving to Dish partly based on this Versus issue. I think they did a really nice job during the NHL Playoffs and I was really looking forward to catching more hockey this year. I have had some other issues with DirecTV this year, so this is more of an annoying issue...

I understand that this question is purely speculative, but does anyone think it would be possible to have the HD Locals via the satellite, but receive their secondary HD channels OTA with the new HR20? After the tuners are turned on, of course.

It's great especially when they zoom in on a storm cell while giving you the direction of where it's heading... Great stuff!!

As a parent, I think it is a great idea. I know people have differing opinions on how to raise their kids, but this is an alternative that some people may not have had before, other than keeping a library of every Elmo DVD.... Not that I am admitting to anything...

The catch is that you have to watch one of those DVDs.:D

Same here. I would rather watch TNT-HD in its current format than watch HDNet Movies in full force HD. JMO

You could also tell a big difference between the US Open coverage on UHD during the week compared to the local CBS coverage on the weekends... But I was still happy to watch UHD rather than USA!!!

I tell you, as much as I love Fox Soccer Channel, the majority of my attention to the channel is on Sat. Its really awesome to have the early Premiership game on at 7:30 and then the Bundes Liga after that. Followed by a couple more Premiership match ups. You really can't beat it...
