Were people like this when the first HD sets came out in '98?

Comcast added the channel in some areas, but mine wasn't one of them. Not that it would matter much, since I don't have a 3D tv.

I mean specifically shows on the YES Network. Would Mike & the Mad Dog, Yankeeography, Centerstage etc. make the transition to HD since the channel will be going fulltime?

In addition to Yankees and Nets games, what else would be in HD?

So Directv is showing the MASN feed of the Nats/Mets game? I wonder what the holdup is in them getting a deal done?

Directv will more than likely have a deal by Opening day April 3. Currently only customers on Time Warner and Comcast which are the owners of SNY can view the channel. All you're currently missing are some preseason/spring training games.

PAX/I is pure garbage. I sincerely hope that Directv wins and takes those channels off the air. I could see if they had some compelling programming on, but since the majority of the programming is infomercials, its just taking up valuable bandwidth that could be used for other channels and services.

Word going around is that it will be gone after today. This according to a crawl on the I national feed on ch.255 and on some of the local stations. I say good riddance.

Apparently these are the two choices for that poll. I want more HDTV, even if it's HDLite! I want better HDTV, even if I have less HD channels!

Hey guys- I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with Comcast's pricing and channel lineup in the Brick,NJ area and am highly considering Directv. But I have a few questions. 1) When they say Free 4 Room Directv system, will those receivers remain free or will I be charged the $4.99...

Is it true that Directv could start carrying this channel in the next couple of months?

They are only available with the Sports Pack.

I think its only going to be on Directv & select digital cable providers.

Read over at DBS TALK that Directv has signed a multi year affilitation deal with Current to carry the channel... In case anybody cared. I'm surprised that Murdoch would carry a channel like this on his service since he doesn't seem to be a big fan of channels unless they have the FOX name in...

Will Directv carry this channel in NWI channel slot? Because when I go forward to august 2 it still says NWI and signoff and doesn't even appear in the august 3 programming guide. This is on Directv.com BTW.

7/1 was what the customer service rep said when I emailed them inquiring about the addition of LOGO. I think it will be tonight, since there is already programming and a listing for LOGO at 9 p.m.

I emailed Directv and they said that startin July 1, 2005 that LOGO will be available in the Total Choice Plus and Total Choice Premier packages. So it wil be added officially. I'm surprised LOGO hasn't updated their website to reflect the changes. I wonder if Dish Network will carry it?

How come Style Network and Nick GAS aren't on Directv? Dish Network has them both.

I think it is almost a guarantee that they will carry it since Dish Network said they will, and how Directv is so into sports.
