I'll be using my Slingbox Pro-HD, especially with my 35Mbps upload. No way I would pay for the NOMAD device when I can sling and do on-demand from my DVR. Not to mention I can sling to my Blackberry, which NOMAD will not support. Not sure this device will take off, but we shall see.

I would advise the OP to do a refresh services. I had a bunch of x721 on NBALP HD feeds last night, had to refresh services and everything came back. Also had to do the same thing on my parent's account, as they had the same issue. Something went screwy yesterday when the NBALP freeview...

NFL CBA expires in March 2011. Next season is up in the air. Seems like the NBA and NFL could both be locked out in 2011, should be interesting.

There is Hallmark HD and Hallmark Movie Channel HD, don't get the two confused. Hallmark HD is available in most packages, HD Extra Pack is needed for Hallmark Movie Channel HD. I think the website has a typo, since there are 7 channels when the Hallmark Movie Channel is included.

Twitter posts by D* stated HD was down, were working on it. They then followed up about 50 min ago saying it was fixed. I suggest following Directv on twitter, so you can get updates on any issue like this, if they happen in the future (hopefully not).

The drift STA for the ground stations would need to be extended only, since those expire on May 7th! I am sure extensions will be filed next week unless they plan on parking the satellite very quickly into the 103 slot.

Probably only a handful of people know what if anything is wrong with the satellite. Those with Boeing & D* that work on the new satellite until handed off to D* at operational slot. If it's anything like what happened with D10, it moved to the 103 & a PR was put out by D* stating the spotbeam...

No idea where in NJ the OP is, but if the winds were anything like the S Shore of Long Island got, the dish probably got knocked out of alignment & needs to be re-aligned!

I have that same multiswitch & works fine at my parent's house, got it before Spaun changed their name to Satellite USA. I've had it in the attic since the AT-9 was installed a few years back & the power supply is used. I can't see the switch working without power, especially on long cable runs.

HD is down while they move to new studio, December 12th the HD feed comes back up, FYI! People in Cablevision forum on dslreports were complaining until someone posted that info. So Dec 12th HD comes back to WTIC.

If you are in NY area, no worries, you'll get the MSG games since MSG is your local RSN. It is for the fans out of area that sub to NHLCI that get screwed since the HD feed is being withheld from the package and they are forced to watch the games in SD, unless there is a dual feed for the other...

So the channel is pretty much the same as the one D* has for the most part? I would sign up with it on FIOS, but I don't want to fork over $50 just to see if it is the same on D* since I have NFLST & barely watch RZC as is. I just watch all the games in HD.

You can do that already with Slingplayer and a slingbox. Works great on my BB Bold.

There should be 2 flex ports on the multiswitch, for 72.5 or International dish. The other 4 inputs are for the lines coming from your 5 LNB. The 5 LNB is not considered a 3 LNB, but it shouldn't matter where you put the 4 coax lines from the dish into the multiswitch, as long as they are not...
