    OSD on Denon receiver not showing up after last directv update

    I'm now having this issue with my Marantz AV7005. It was just off and on for a week but this week it been mostly off. I can switch inputs over to the AppleTV and the OSD comes back. Then if I switch back to DirecTV it also works. But at some point while on DirecTV it will quit working...

    I tried the on screen method but it would just never program... I selected try again at least 30 times. Then I found this.. DIRECTV Remote Codes It shows how to program the volume lock manually. At first it didn't work either. Then I found something that said the volume lock will not work...

    Well it seems that keying the code in manually did the trick... at least for power. I still can't use the volume buttons as it seems someone dedicated those to only a TV. That's just dumb!
