Yes, it will take a while to fully load. I don't use this feature that much but with cast and crew, it took at least 3 days for this feature to be fully loaded on my HDDVR after installation of the new GUI.

I totally agree. I wish they'd add this feature to the hd dvr receivers.

Instruction says that there should be an envelope to pack up the accessories. I didn't get one, so I just used an old manila envelope that I have. Called them up about it and was told didn't really matter. The prepaid label was for USPS and no tracking number.

Lesson learned: Don't listen to wife (all the time). I'm quite satisfied with D*. My only gripe is its tardiness in adding more hd channels. So, barring any unforeseen event, I think I'll be with D* for a long while.

MSNBC is about the only news channel that I watch. My contract expires this coming Sept and I am not so sure if I'll renew. But then again is the other sat company any better?

Spoke with a D* supervisor couple of days ago and asked her about PBS HD. According to her, PBS HD is not on their list of upcoming hd channels. Hope I'm wrong but I am assuming that it will not be on this year, which would be a pity.

Woke up this morning looking forward to watching a bunch of football in hd. But lo and behold, error 721 pops up on all the NFL hd channels. This was on my hd dvr receiver hooked up to a 48 inch. Went to the kitchen where I have my 20 inch with the regular hd receiver and all NFL hd channels...
