Intermittently, when changing to a different channel, the TV screen blacks-out and the message "mode not supported" will appear. Turning the receiver off and on solves the problem, but there must be a permanent solution to this. I have the HR24 receiver and it's set on 1080p currently. Any suggestions to solve this problem?

Thanks.

It sounds like you have Native passthru enabled, and the TV is losing sync when changing from one mode to another. Disabling native mode should fix this..

Menu > Parental, Favs & Setup > System Setup > HDTV > Video

Set Native to off, then back up to TV Resolutions and disable 480i and 480p. Exit out, and press the RES button until it is set at the mode you want (720p or 1080i). 1080p is not available unless you are watching a 1080p PPV movie.
