    Netflix is putting the hurt on prices!

    I read that they are spending less on dvd purchases and more on streaming rights. That could explain the long waits. I simply went from 3 discs to 2 to avoid paying more. Honestly, we watch more streaming through Netflix now than satellite.

    Thanks for the tips. I had no idea DLP couldn't display 1080i. I will set both to 720p (and the Dish receiver) and sit closer (I currently sit about 12 Ft. away.) to see if it's an improvement.

    My wife and kids loved it, but I just couldn't get past the low quality CGI. The worst example being the wide shots outside the North Pole.

    LG BD370 player

    I realize this is an older thread, but I just got one of these for $199 at NewEgg. I must say that I'm really loving it so far. Also, I feel like I'm finally getting my money's worth out of Netflix with this player.
