    Vista Service Pack 1 available

    Noticed on Update page that they (whoever "they" are) tried to download and install SP 1 on my Toshiba laptop on 3/20. It says it failed. What do I have to do next? Does anybody know?

    Can't access updates

    My son surprised me with a new Toshiba notebook earlier this month. I'm still getting used to it. The OS is new, (to me!) Windows Vista home premium and I cannot get it to update. Is it me? I have no problem getting my XP desktop to update.What's different about Vista? Please help.:confused:
