NYC Channels added NYC city channels are added with program info. Had to reboot receiver to get them. Thanks Ilya.

As of this morning new channels weren't added. Channels still say no info. Maybe Monday. I'll check again Monday night.

Ok after further checking. New channels are added, Springfield, Providence and I assume NYC. They were hidden. You have to look for them. Program info hasn't finished downloading yet so I don't know if that is there or not.

After reboot still old map. Hopefully they update it tonite.

Still have 0027 map. Trying reboot. Will update in a little while how I make out. This is great as I receive NYC stations as well as Hartford stations.

My guess is it will be separate. I don't think dish carries all the sirius channels although they have quite a few. My son has dish and sirius seems to be better than music choice that we have in my opinion.

I have decided to keep Voom until they shut off service. Will probobly go with dish as I like the sirius music channels. Charter HD here in CT sucks. Hopefully we can get a few more months out of this until the weather warms up and we don't watch as much tv. I figure with Dish I can get a buggy...

Could I use my original Voom dish for the 2nd satellite? I changed my dish to a 30" dish soon after getting Voom and have the old dish sitting in the garage. What kind of switch would I have to get to combine them?

I think the picture quality was excellent. Never saw one macroblocking although in the tyson fight there was more hugging than punching. :) Can't believe I even watched fight. Amazing what you will do when something is free.

I also live in CT. Western side. I picked up NY channels and PBS from Bridgeport. What channels are you missing? To get NY channels I used aim antenna screen to get the strongest signal and then ran the scan again. After you rotate antenna to get over 80 run scan again. I think that will help yo.

I called customer service and they had me do a hard reboot. Seems ok now.

I am also getting constant dropouts on satellite signal, ota is fine.

I am getting breakups on sat channels, not ota. Sat signal strength is 99. Hope it is something in the uplink and not new software.
