Personally I do not watch Rush, Rave, Ultra, Auction, Moov, Gallery regularly, but I would rather have them than the SD duplicates (e.g TNT/ESPN etc.)

1. 811 OTA is horrible. It never locked for me except one channel, even with a Good antenna setup. The voom locks like it is another SAt channel. Serach 49% problem in the dish forums for more detail. 2. No OTA digital Program guide. If 811 cannot lock into OTA for long, it loses the mapping...

Is there any way to access the little red button on the DSR550, (which cycles through native, 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i), through voom or harmony sst659 remote?

I was comparing Discovery HD which is available on both. Even my wife can figure out the difference it is so apparent. :D

Dish 811 can strech or zoom a 1080i 0r 720p signal (pillarboxed or not) with the * button on the remote. It works only for DVI/Component out though. :)

In my dish 811, SD channels require a stretch mode to fill the screen in order to avoid the use of black side bars. Is it the same way with Voom STB? for Voom STB, If I use the native mode, do I have to watch the SD material with black bars on the side? What about 1080i mode? :confused:
