Mine came today. Charter member with check in hand. 2 receivers and VaVaVoom all the way. Everyday I still miss what was. At least we saw the future and it was great. Limping along with Dish.

Still don't understand. I'm in the same boat as you. Two purchased receivers in December 2003 and I too got a refund last year. Again the CSR's keep telling me no refunds or buy backs for receivers. So I don't understand all the reports to the contrary. Are these subs later buyers or...

I bought mine and after three calls I was told three times no buy back or refund. just keep the receivers but I will get a refund for the few last days of no service I was billed. I don't get who and why some are saying the've got hundreds of dollars coming back.

I just called 800-GET-VOOM and was told all final statements will be out by the end of this week. Some were sent last week and the rest by this Friday. The CSR said it would explain about refunds etc. So it didn't sound like "the check is in the mail."

Duhhh. That was not my point. Do enough people really watch them, are they there to proove something or are they there so Dish can say it offers hundreds of channels?
