So you get all your HD (not just locals) from 61.5? that is my goal.. its not that I care about where I get my locals (I can get those OTA when needed).. its where I get all my channels (which are all HD since I have the HD-only pkg). Actually in that light.. wouldn't a single 61.5 dish be all...

Right.. I guess my question was that I am on a 1000.2 now... I saw the post comment about other sats that are moving, and the 1000.4, so I'm wondering if I'd be needing to make the change to 1000.4 in a few months anyway, in which case, a temporary addition of 61.5 might not be worth it.

For those of us that are "eastern" and despise 129.. _can_ we switch to 61.5 today (and ditch 129) or are we better off waiting until all of the re-alignment happens? I'm guessing/hoping (maybe wrongly) that I'd have a much better signal from 61.5 for my HD and thus much less rain/storm...

Hmm, if I am on the HD-only pkg does this mean I could ditch my 1000.2 (which I think I only needed for the Ral locals being on 129?) and get a much better signal now? If so, I think the conclusion is that you are hard-pressed to get this for free (unless you re-up your 2 yr agreement), but...
