Initially, I had to do a hard reboot to get the box working after the software update. Since then, everythings been fine.

Has anyone else noticed where there will be errors in what the program guide is showing and what is actually playing? Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Eric Here's a couple of things to try. Unplug the power from the receiver, wait 30 seconds and reconnect. Leave it alone for about 20 minutes. Not just to repopulate the program guide, but changing channels too soon seems to corrupt the reload of other software.

Component output from the Voom receiver can be set for 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and native passthrough. The receiver also has svideo output which I believe would also have to be 480i. This output might be the safer bet as you would probably want to leave the receiver in native pass through...

I highly recommend that you notify Voom so that they don't pay the idiot that came out there. Either A)he's incompetent or B)makes more money installing new units.
